After having set up an auto-forward rule in Outlook, you may sometimes receive the following notification email in return:

Your message wasn't delivered because the recipient's email provider rejected it.

What does this message mean?

The clue is in the diagnostic message: Your organization does not allow external forwarding. Please contact your administrator for further assistance. AS(7555)

The issue is not that Parseur blocked your message, but that your Outlook Policies prevent you from setting up auto-forwards to external email addresses (like your Parseur mailbox) by default.

How do I fix the "Your organization does not allow external forwarding" error?

You need to contact your email administrator to allow forwards outside of your company.

You can do this by:

  • Login to the Security Admin Center

  • Navigate to the Threat Management tab > Policy tab > Anti-Spam > Outbound spam filter policy > Edit Policy > Automatic forwarding

  • Choose On - Forwarding is enabled

  • Save
